What Simplify SMS is
Simplify SMS is a school management platform: one place for a school to manage its students, teachers, parents, and accountants, run its academic year — attendance, exams, marks, and report cards — and collect fees, all with role-based accounts for everyone involved. It's built as a genuine multi-school platform, so it works for a single school today and for a group of schools under one operator tomorrow, without switching systems.
The problem we're solving
Many schools in Somalia still run on paper attendance registers, exam marks kept in notebooks, fee collection tracked in a personal ledger or spreadsheet, and parent communication over informal group chats. None of it is connected, none of it is backed up, and none of it scales past one overworked administrator. Simplify SMS exists to replace that patchwork with a single, organized system — without asking a school to adopt something built for a completely different market and translated after the fact.
Our focus
We're deliberately narrower than a generic global school-ERP: Simplify SMS focuses on the workflows a Somali private school actually runs day to day — people, academics, attendance, exams, and monthly fee collection — done well, with real multi-tenant security underneath, rather than a long feature list done shallowly. As the platform grows, what gets built next is driven by what schools actually need, not by matching a competitor's brochure.
